Hotel Demas Muenchen-Unterhaching

The room design was so nice with a comfortable bed.

The rooms here are newly remodelled and beautifully maintained in good condition. The breakfast is satisfactory for vegetarians, had APPETISING food. Its location to S-bahn which will bring you to all the places you want to go is magnificent and quiet.

Silent location, good connections with the city, free wifi

Poor sound proofing of walls/doors, the internet router seemed not to be connected to the internet all the time

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The secure underground parking was free and made things easy for us.

It would be great if they could manage this better .

Location just next door to the suburbs of Munich, the restaurant and S Bahn. Plenty of food options within easy walking distance of the venue❤

With kids, this hotel was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood outside the city. We used this as our base and it was 5 mins to the local station from where you could access all of Munich, and with the family travel pass this made it a great value location. Nice to leave the city each evening.

If you're a fan of fish and chips, you must check out the nearby Wirtshaus Kammerloher, a real gem where the breading was on point. The cleanliness of the room. We loved the spacious atmosphere, especially with the half-glass ceiling.

Hot water was elusive, and the less-than-enthusiastic receptionist could've used a spark.

I was at first concerned about the location as we were only staying one night and we were visiting the Marienplatz, Viktuallenmarkt, and the Augustiner beer garden. But the S-Bahn station is only a few minutes walk from the hotel and then only a 15-20 minute trip to old city and main train station. Hotel is fairly new, very clean and modern, and the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful (and make excellent cappucino). Large parking garage under the hotel, as well as outside parking, and a convenient grocery next door.

Wi-fi signal was very poor in the evening but better in the morning. No a/c but was not needed as weather was cool and rainy.

The beds were comfortable and I loved the room design. They let us check in early, awesome. I really enjoyed the sauna and spa lounge for some relaxation after exploring the city. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi could use some improvement, but overall it was a fantastic stay 😊

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. They spoke fluent English and helped us with the train schedule and deciding our Munich itenary.

The jacuzzi was out of order (we needed that after a long day of exploration). The staff did not know about the VAT form, so this caused some confusion in our price. We never did get to an understanding.

It was very short stay but very nice area and hotel.

The breakfast was fantastic and had a great variety. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The kids enjoyed the free underground parking, super convenient for our trips around the area.

In my wife's opinion, the lack of a proper playground for the kids could be improved.

The room was clean. the shower and bathroom were clean and very functional. The town was very safe and a nice Bavarian setting.

Very good value for money - if only the hotel was closer to the city, it would be an ideal place to stay for a city tour. We needed to take a train (some 12-15 min to centre). Hotel worth to recommend.

There was no wifi in the room (poor signal quality) so I had to sit in the reception - it was for free though:-)
